Tay Bridge, Dundee.
The Tay Road Bridge is an important bridge in Scotland. It crosses the Firth of Tay from Newport-on-Tay in Fife to Dundee. The city of Dundee is only 7 miles from the new housing development at Rawes Farm Steading, Longforgan.
It's around 1.4 miles long, making it one of the longest bridges in Europe. The bridge took over 3 years to build at a cost of approximately £6 million and was opened by the Queen Mother on the 18th August 1966.
The crossing had previously been made by a ferry service from Newport to Craigie Pier.
