Discovery Point, Dundee
Dundee is the 4th largest city in Scotland and is known as the"City of Discovery".
It is situated only seven miles from Rawes Farm Steading, Longforgan and has a renowned Technology Park, universites, a major railway station and a small airport. Dundee is also well served by good quality shopping and various social and leisure activities.
For a great day out in Dundee I can recommend a visit to Discovery Point where you can climb aboard Captain Scott's ship RRS Discovery and follow in the footsteps of him and his crew. See how they lived, what they ate and witness their hardships. It's a fascinating tale of one of the most heroic voyages of exploration.
